Approximately 5 business days. Sometimes, it might take longer depends on how fast your current phone service provider releases your number. |
Can I call from my cell phone with Rangatel service?
Yes, you can register upto 5 phone numbers into your Rangatel account, to make international calls. Detailed instructions are available on how to use when you login to your Rangatel account and clicking on "My Plan & Features". |
Are there any restrictions/limitations for unlimited calling?
Rangatel residential VoIP phone service is for normal residential use only and may not be used for commercial, service can not be shared with others or can not be used for other special purposes. Please read our Terms to get complete information. |
Is there any cancellation fee or termination fee?
No, there is NO cancellation fee. You can cancel your account any time, you will be charged only for that month. You will need to return your Rangatel leased adapter within 15 days of cancellation. |

Do I need to change anything with my internet to work with Rangatel?
No, you just need to plug in your Rangatel telephone adapter to your wireless router or modem and wait for the dialtone to make calls. No special settings are needed in most cases. |
What is the billing cycle? And how will I be billed? Do I get monthly statements to my home?
Your billing cycle starts the day your Rangatel adapter ships out. Your creditcard/debitcard you used at the time of signup will be billed every month. No, you will not get any physical statements. You can login to your account at: www.rangatel.com and download copies of your bills. |
Can I keep my current phone number with Rangatel?
Yes, Rangatel can transfer your phone number from your current phone service provider. Until your phone number is transferred to Rangatel, you will be assigned a temporary phone number to receive calls. |
