Enhanced Voicemail

Rangatel.com voicemail gives you total control of your messages by phone or internet. If you're on a call and just can't pick up a second incoming call, or you're away from your phone, our Voicemail will pick up and take a message for you. It enables you to record your own greeting, listen to your messages and delete messages from any phone. You will get the visual indication of voicemail on your phone, if your phone is capable of it.

If the voicemail forwarding is enabled, you will receive the voicemail message to the email account you specify when you get a new voicemail message. You'll be able to save voice mail messages on your computer or even forward them via email to others.

When you access your voicemail from rangatel.com phone, dial *15 and follow the prompts. It's a free call.

Caller ID

Caller ID enables you to see the phone numbers of people calling you before you answer it, on any Caller ID enabled phones. It's an excellent way to manage your time by taking calls what and when you want to.

If your phone supports Call waiting with Caller ID, you will see the Caller ID information of the incoming call even if you are on another call and have not disabled Call Waiting.

The people you are calling can also see your calling details if they have Caller ID-enabled phones and caller ID facility.

Caller ID feature is generally available in the US and may not be available in certain regions depending on the carriers.

Call Waiting

Rangatel.com Call Waiting is great feature, which will alert you with a beep, if you receive an incoming call when you are already on the phone. It even gives you the phone number from which you are receiving the call (on the caller ID display). You can switch between calls by pressing the flash/callwait button and you can switch between calls as often as you like without having to hang up or you can just ignore the call. If you choose to ignore the call, it will be answered by voice mail.

Call waiting is possible only with 3-way calling enabled phones.

3-Way Calling

Rangatel.com 3-Way Calling enables you to create a conference call with two other callers, if your phone is capable of this facility. Conference calling allows you to add a third party to your current phone call. This is an essential feature when organizing plans and schedules with more than one person. And best feature to calling friends and families.

To make a 3-Way Call, you can receive an incoming call, then make an outgoing call and conference the two calls together or you can initiate both the outgoing calls.

Follow these steps for 3-way calls:

Dial the first number and wait for the party to answer then ask them to hold.
Press the flash/callwait button on your telephone. This will put the existing party on hold. You will then hear a dial tone.
Dial the second phone number and wait for the party to answer.
Press the Flash/callwait button a second time to bring all three of you onto the same call.
To disconnect the second caller, press the Flash/callwait button.

Call Forwarding

Rangatel.com Call Forwarding feature is a powerful tool which will let you be in touch with your friends and family wherever you are. When this feature is activated, all your incoming calls will be redirected to another number you specify. You may set this feature to forward calls to any number, worldwide. You can forward all calls.

You'll find Call Forwarding an especially easy way to ensure you don't miss a call â or an opportunity.

For forwarding everytime: Login to your account online, click on "My Profile" and then click on "My Features". Enter the number to forward your calls. International numbers should be in: 011+countrycode+number. US/Canada numbers should be entered like: countrycode+number.

You can also dial *72 to enable call forwarding and then follow instructions. To disable call forwarding, you can dial *73.

Do Not Disturb

Rangatel.com "Do Not Disturb" feature allows you to forward the calls directly to voicemail without disturbing you. When this feature is activated, all your incoming calls will be redirected to your voicemail.

To enable "Do Not Disturb": Login to your account online, click on "My Profile" and then click on "My Features". Click on "Do Not Disturb" check box and save.

You can also dial *60 to enable "Do Not Disturb". To disable "Do Not Disturb", you can dial *61 and follow the instructions.

Choose Your Own Areacode

You can choose whatever the area code you needed for your phone, if it is available with Rangatel. Enter your phone number here and see if we can provide you local number in your area.

Online Call History

The days of hidden charges and fees are gone. Rangatel.com allows you to view your call history online, by logging into your account anytime. This is a real-time feature and you can instantly view the dialed/received calls history online. You can check your call history for the past 6 months.

Online Billing

Rangatel.com Online Billing allows you to view your invoices and payments online. You can pay the bill online.

Online Account Management

Rangatel.com account management allows you to enable/disable the features/services you wish. You can change all your account settings by logging into your account online. Most of the features can be accessed from your rangatel.com phone also.

FREE In-Network Calling

Rangatel.com provides FREE Unlimited IN Calling which allows you to call any other Rangatel.com customers for no charge. Anywhere in the world its free. You can directly dial the rangatel.com customer's phone number from your rangatel.com phone and enjoy the unlimited IN calling.
